New CNC Machine Commissioned at Ambic

Ambic has just commissioned a new 3 Axis CNC machine for its Engineering and Tool Making Department, enabling it to undertake more tool making work-in house and thus shorten tool making lead times where certain engineering processes previously had to be outsourced. The CNC Machine was recently installed in a refurbished Tool Room which was extended to accommodate the new machine.

Ambic Bids Farewell to Mike Tyler with an Unconventional ‘Virtual’ Retirement Party!

Reluctant to miss the opportunity to say a proper fond farewell to Mike Tyler, Ambic’s Financial Controller, who retired after more than 14 years in the job, staff at Ambic organised a virtual or ‘on-line’ retirement party for him just before the Easter break.

Office staff working from home joined production staff in Witney by dialling in to a virtual on-line meeting to hear Colin Kingston, Ambic’s MD, sing Mike’s praises for his dedication to Ambic in helping to steer Ambic through a period of significant growth and change.

Mike will be invited back to Ambic once conditions return to normal for a more conventional celebration.
