Celebrating 30 Years of Service

Last week we celebrated not one but two of our employees reaching 30 years of service at Ambic.

Anne joined Ambic straight from school, starting in the Mouldshop, moving to Assembly and Sales. Anne then left for maternity leave and when she returned she became part of the Purchasing Team where she has remained.

Anne says “30 years at Ambic have been a pleasure. They have always been supportive in my various roles within the business and I hope to stay for many years to come”

Vera joined us as a Multi Skilled Operator and has remained there ever since.

Vera says “I love working here” and added the same as Anne that she “hopes to be here for many years to come.

Both Anne and Vera’s knowledge and skills are the back bone of Ambic and we thank them both for their continued hard work and dedication to Ambic.

Sad news

It is with great sadness that we report that Lesley Dickin passed away on Wednesday 26th January 2022; she had suffered a brief illness before passing away in hospital where Steve, Jamie (their son) and sister were with her to the end.

For Ambic, Lesley was a valuable and important member of our office team and was responsible for Sales & Marketing, HR and a raft of other roles which she managed with ease and great professionalism for a little over eighteen years. She will be missed most of all for her smile, friendship and can-do attitude.
