Peristaltic pumps for safe and hygenic fluid handling

Peristaltic pumps, unlike other pumps, operate with two or more rollers that compress a tube against a journal wall. As the compressed section advances, during rotation, liquid is drawn in and then pushed out as the tube relaxes back to its normal circular profile.

These pumps can be characterised as a truly non-contact pump as the liquid remains in the tube and is not affected by any mechanical element and therefore suitable for aggressive chemicals, food contact and medical applications; in addition the pump is capable of running dry.

Ambic Peristaltic Pumps and Pump Assemblies have been
produced and supplied into a range of different industries and
applications for many years; they have earned a reputation for
reliability and robustness, including OEM manufacturers. The
product range includes pumps with a delivery of 100ml to 790ml
per minute. They can be supplied in a range of voltages and
with a wide variety of peristaltic tubes that will cater for most
chemical solutions.

Low & Medium Volume Peristaltic Pumps with Metal Gears

Low and Medium-Volume Peristaltic Pumps with Metal Gears

Ambic Low and Medium-Volume Peristaltic Pumps have
been produced and supplied into a range of different
industries and applications for many years; they have
earned a reputation for reliability and robustness,
including OEM, Tank Manufacturers and CIP System.
20ml to 1100ml per minute. They can be supplied in a
range of motor type, voltages and with a wide range of
peristaltic tubes that will cater for most chemical solutions

Pumps fitted with metal gear motors are more durable and, therefore, more suited to heavy duty applications. They are slightly larger and heavier than pumps fitted with plastic gear motors.

Low and Medium-Volume Peristaltic Pump with Plastic Gears

Ambic Peristaltic Pumps and Pump Assemblies have
been produced and supplied into a range of different
industries and applications for many years; they have
earned a reputation for reliability and robustness. The
product range includes pumps with a delivery of 100ml
to 790ml per minute. They can be supplied in a range of
voltages and with a wide variety of peristaltic tubes that
will cater for most chemical solutions.

Low and Medium-Volume AC Peristaltic Pump with Metal Gears

Ambic Low and Medium-Volume are, 230V, 50Hz, AC
motor operated pumps. These can be supplied with
various speeds and/or with different size bore
diameter to allow for different delivery rates.
These pumps can be supplied fitted with or without
mounting plate or fitted on a plastic enclosure.
These pumps are designed with unique spring-loaded
roller assemblies to reduce tube wear, prolong tube life
and improve delivery performance.

High-Volume Peristaltic Pumps

Ambic has a comprehensive range of High-Volume Peristaltic Pump products which have an output performance of between 1,500ml to 7,100ml per minute
depending on motor speed and tube bore size. They are widely used by OEM manufacturers, as well as dishwashing and laundry specialists, where they have
earned a reputation for reliability and robustness.

High-Volume Dispensing Pumps

Ambic High-Volume Dispensing systems are available in Single, Twin or Triple pump assemblies. High-Volume Peristaltic Pumps, or a combination of High and Low-
Volume Peristaltic Pumps in 12 or 24V DC, or 230V AC.

Extra High-Volume Peristaltic Pumps

Ambic Extra High-Volume Peristaltic Pump range offers an output performance of up to 6 Litres per minute – depending on motor speed and tube bore size; these pumps are also suited to pumping liquids over a very long distance. They are widely used by OEM manufacturers, where they have earned a reputation for reliability and robustness.

Ambic Remote Delivery System™

Ambic Remote Delivery System™ is an electronic Extra High-Volume pumping system used on rotary parlour to fill or refill the 40 / 125Lt tank.

Ambic Float Switch Assemblies

Ambic Float Switch Assemblies provide an efficient and inexpensive solution to liquid level detection; they offer trouble-free operation over a long life. Ambic’s Float Switch Assemblies are fitted with reliable heavy duty reed switches, moulded in chemical resistant Polypropylene. The shroud and stem are manufactured from chemical resistant PVC; the stem is fitted with a gland to prevent chemical from getting inside.

Ambic Filling System

Ambic Filling System is an electronic Extra High-Volume pumping system used on rotary parlour to fill or refill the 40 / 125Lt tank.

Ambic Dilution™ System

Ambic Dilution System is to dilute concentrate chemical with water for use. The system is connected to mains water which is controlled by a ball valve.

Mix‘n’Demand™ System

Low Level Alarm System

The Ambic Mix’n’Demand™ chemical dosing system mixes two-part teat sanitisation chemicals during milking so that a fresh mixture is always on hand when needed, without expensive chemicals being wasted at the end of milking.

Flash‘n’Fill™

Low-Level Alarm System

Ambic Flash’n’Fill™ is an independent electronic warning device which operates in conjunction with Float Switch Assemblies to detect low levels of chemical in up to ten chemical containers simultaneously.

Flash‘n’Text™

Low-Level Alarm System

Ambic Flash’n’Text™ is an electronic low-level alarm system which operates in conjunction with Float Switch Assemblies to detect low-levels of chemical in up to six
chemical containers at the same time. It automatically generates a 4G SMS Message and sends up to six pre-programmed mobile numbers.

EasiDoser™

Ambic has a range of automated dosing and dilution systems based on combining its extensive, well-proven range of Low-Volume and High-Volume Peristaltic Pumps with a new microprocessor control system. This system has been developed to control the operation of up to three peristaltic pumps of differing capacities to dispense and dose precise quantities of fluids for cleaning or sanitisation purposes. Typical applications include dispensing detergent, bleach, acid and/or alkaline for sanitisation purposes as well as for mixing and dilution.
