BumBullbee joins the Ambic Family

BumBullbee – Formally of Oxford Brookes University now resides at Ambic Equipment Limited, Witney along with our own Daisy the blue and white friesian.

BumBullbee was part of the celebrated OxTrail and fund-raising campaign for Sobell House Hospice.

It all started at a Summer Garden Party when Managing Director Richard Hiley was introduced to Nikki Gracey – Relationships Fundraising Manager for Sobell House Hospice Charity, by Ian Bingham, Ambic’s IP Attorney at IPAssets. Ian has been a supporter of Sobell House Hospice for many years and when he won a second Ox at the auction asked if Ambic Equipment Limited would be willing to offer BumBullBee a home.

The creation of renowned artist Lynne Hollingsworth Artist . “This cute BumBULLbee merges the robust nature of a bull with the beauty of a bee. I wanted this design to be a thought-provoking reminder of the bee and its pivotal role in our ecosystem. Just as strong as an ox, these tiny creatures are indeed mighty. I wanted to create a playful reminder of the need to protect our environment and the vital role of bees in sustaining our planet’s biodiversity.”

BumBullbee was originally sponsored by Oxera Consulting LLP.

Nikki has some more fund-raising plans coming up and Ambic hope to be involved earlier in these, raising monies for this worthy local charity who provide palliative and end-of-life care to adults living in Oxfordshire with a life-limiting illness, and support to their family and friends.
