Ambic Product Colour Change – Dip Cup Spreaders

In an effort to minimize our environmental impact, we have decided to standardise our Dip Cup Spreaders with a black recycled plastic moulding.

This change will not impact on how the Dip Cup performs; but with your help, will enable Ambic to achieve one of our ‘Green’ targets, rather than polluting the environment.

You may have noticed another Ambic initiative with our more sustainable packaging policy, which we intend to expand over the next financial year. We look forward to continuing this work in partnership with our customers.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, then please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Steve Dickin Celebrates 25 years of Service at Ambic

On the 15th June, we celebrated Steve Dickin reaching 25 years of service at Ambic.

Steve joined us as a Buyer in 1998 bringing with him buying experience, knowledge of MRP systems and his brief background in toolmaking and engineering design.

IT was also another valued skill that Steve offered which has seen the vast improvement of the Ambic Systems and Network.

Overtime and as the business grew, Steve progressed to become the Purchasing Manager and then more recently, Inventory and Admin Manager.

Steve is for sure a valued asset to the Ambic family and we hope the organised celebrations today have shown that to him.

Looking to the future…..

Ambic Equipment Limited would like to introduce 16 year old Finley Lundie-Gordon, the new Apprentice Mechanical Engineer who has joined our experienced Toolroom Team.

Fin attended the Burford School in Oxfordshire, where he studied a BTEC in Engineering alongside his GCSE’s.

Over the next 2 years, Fin will attend Abingdon and Witney College on a part-time basis and work towards his Level 2 Apprenticeship (Engineering Operative).

Ambic are keen for Fin to develop further by advancing on to L3 Apprenticeship (Engineering Technician) specialising in tool making and maintenance.

Celebrating 30 Years of Service

Last week we celebrated not one but two of our employees reaching 30 years of service at Ambic.

Anne joined Ambic straight from school, starting in the Mouldshop, moving to Assembly and Sales. Anne then left for maternity leave and when she returned she became part of the Purchasing Team where she has remained.

Anne says “30 years at Ambic have been a pleasure. They have always been supportive in my various roles within the business and I hope to stay for many years to come”

Vera joined us as a Multi Skilled Operator and has remained there ever since.

Vera says “I love working here” and added the same as Anne that she “hopes to be here for many years to come.

Both Anne and Vera’s knowledge and skills are the back bone of Ambic and we thank them both for their continued hard work and dedication to Ambic.
